Construction for Stage 1A is nearing completion. The table below indicates our target completion of works dates. Please note that title registration is expected approximately 4 weeks after completion of works.

We are disappointed about the delays to date and wish works had progressed more quickly. Below we outline some of the challenges the project has faced and provide some insight as to why the delays have occurred.

With the strong encouragement of Council we agreed to reposition Bridge Road insofar as it ran through Robinsons Rise.  This should be in the best long-term interests of not only residents of Robinsons Rise, but those in adjoining estates as it will greatly improve traffic flow for the area. Because of this change major redesign work was needed to infrastructure and fresh approvals from key service providers was required.  Unfortunately, this can be a lengthy process, the exact timing of which is hard to predict. Our estimates have proven to be too optimistic, but all approvals are now in place and works are now progressing quickly. Additionally, the front of the site contained extensive rock which significantly extended the works schedule for 1a’s sewer installation. However, this is expected to be less of a concern in subsequent stages as they do not need to be laid so deeply.

Where We are Now

The stage 1A major stormwater and sewer works are near completion, electrical conduits are being installed, and we are preparing Adelong Boulevard for kerb and channelling. Since Wednesday 25th July 2,000 cubic metres of crushed rock has been delivered, laid and proof rolled, and with another 1,000 cubic metres arriving early next week we are confident Robinsons Rise will soon look very different.
